The Role:   To Liaise With Group Organiser On Their Event And Ensure All Changes Are Dealt With And Passed If Necessary To The.     relevant Departments.  To Ensure That Clients’ Needs And Expectations Are Met.  To Co-Ordinate And Organise All Events In The Function Rooms Across The Hotel In Line With The Function Sheet And Guest.     requirements.  To Work Closely With The Sales Team  wedding Co-Ordinator And The Client With Regard To Any Queries Prior,     during And After The Event To Ensure Clients Requirements Are Fulfilled.  To Organise All The Necessary Equipment And Requirements For The Event Ensuring Costs Are Kept To A Minimum.  Maintain A Prominent Level Of Visibility And Involvement In The Conference And Banqueting Operations At All Times  To Manage And Supervise The Food & Beverage Service In The Function Rooms, Ensuring Standards Are Maintained.  Be Part Of The Management Team & Fully Flexible To Work Varying Shifts Including Weekends   Assume Responsibility For Training, Control And Motivation Of Relevant Staff, Including Assisting With The Induction.     and Training Of All Staff, Specifically Sop Training  Excellent People Management Skills With The Ability To Build And Motivate The Team  To Be Aware Of Trends, Practices And Equipment In Conference, Banqueting, Meetings & Events In The Hotel Industry.     through Trade Literature, Networking, Attending Seminars & Trade Shows  with Particular Regard To Weddings.  Attention To Detail And High Standards  The Role Will Include Duty Manager Shifts To Ensure Smooth Operations Of All Departments.  A Good Understanding Of Conference Sales Techniques And The Ability To Derive Strong Revenues From Same.
