We are currently working with a family-owned hotel in Co. Roscommon to recruit a head chef to lead a small, busy kitchen. A formal culinary qualification with previous experience in a small hotel or restaurant is essential. The chef will lead a team and have responsibity for overall food production and presentation. In addition the successful candidate will: - Have experience in managing HACCP. - Have the ability to produce good quality food at pre-agreed margins. - Manage purchasing and stock to ensure both are kept to a minimum. - Manage labour and rosters in line with business demands. - Have excellent customer skills and an interest in getting to know the local's to maintain and increase busimess.
