Technology Services Analyst. What you need to know. You will work as a Technology Services Analyst for our client, a highly successful manufacturing company in Co. Mayo . You will be responsible for maintaining the IT systems, the organisational server platforms and providing support for cloud applications. You will work alongside the IT & technical support team and report into the Client Services Manager. The Technology Services Analyst role involves shift work to ensure sufficient support occurs. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Responsible of day-to-day delivery of IT systems, manage server & infrastructure incidents and monitor & manage ticket requests. Coordinate the security and risk management relating to organisational IT systems. Provide IT support to end-users ensuing high level of customer satisfaction. Interpret and translate the business IT technical requirements into innovative smart solutions that are business aligned. Structure, implement and clearly communicate related projects to the organisational stakeholders. Ensuring all quality and safety standards are adhered to at all time. Build strong relationships with internal & external business partners. Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to resolve escalated issues and service requests. Collaborate with other departments to resolve cross functional technical problems effectively & efficiently. Build proactive IT monitoring and data collection capability to capture and generate automated system reports. Develop and maintain IT process and standards that catalogues IT services, information risk management, disaster recovery procedures, IT Business Continuity Planning, together with hardware and software asset and licensing management in line with IT Audit compliance. What are we looking for? A Degree or Diploma in Computing (Smart Technologies, Computer Networks, Software Development) or a related discipline within the IT field is preferable. Technical Accreditation or experience in one or more of the following areas: Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016, MS SQL, VMware, Storage - EMC preferred, o365, Microsoft Win10. At least 3-years’ experience in IT operations and services delivery preferable. Ability to translate technology to meet business requirements. Previous experience of technical relationship building with customers and business partners. Strong written and oral communication skills. Desirable. Technical accreditation in project management desirable. Knowledge of Networking, IoT or Edge computing and Web design would be beneficial.
