What you need to know. You will work as a Planning & Supply Chain Specialist for our client, a highly successful and well-established medical manufacturing company in East Galway . As the Planning & Supply Chain Specialist , you will supervise and oversee a variety of different departments within the supply chain to ensure that the overall process runs smoothly.You will be responsible for planning, implementation, forecasting and scheduling. This is a permanent job . Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Procure materials for manufacturing and shipment of the final product through the MRP system. Maintain adequate inventory, scheduling and receiving shipments of raw materials as well as scheduling manufacturing. Assess current orders and forecast future demand in order to provide adequate supplies. Ensure that the Supply Chain function operates in full compliance with Environmental Health and Safety Standards, Current Good Manufacturing Practice, shipping and all other relevant regulations. Working onsite with clients implementing programmes of change. Responsible for managing MRP/ERP System and ensuring value stream requirements and ERP capability are concur. Create an efficient inventory management system on site. What are we looking for? 3rd Level Degree in Business/Engineering or related discipline with qualifications in APICS or CSCP. At least 5 years’ work experience in a fast-paced supply chain environment with 2 years in a scheduling and planning role. Experience implementing and ERP system.
