PERSON SPECIFICATION Training, Experience and Qualifications. Professional Qualification in Nursing and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland is a must. Minimum of 5 years’ post registration clinical experience is required. Experience of delegating and supervising student nurses, junior nursing staff and non nursing staff is desirable. Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team is desirable. Experience of working with people with disabilities is desirable. Knowledge and Skills. Strong communication, creativity, problem solving and decision-making skills. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills. An awareness and understanding of the needs of people with physical, sensory and communication difficulties would be an advantage. Behaviours.
