What you need to know. You will work as a HR & Training Specialist for our client, a highly successful and well-established medical manufacturing company in Co. Leitrim . As the HR & Training Specialist , you will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of training interventions. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Identify and evaluate training needs by implementing policies and procedures in accordance with current legislation. Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans. Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes in employment policies. Source candidates via social media and career’s page on the company website. Be responsible for employee pre-employment medicals. Coordinate the internal recruitment process. Generate reports supporting KPI’s. Liaise with TMS providers to resolve system issues. Coordinate company events and meetings. Participate in both internal and external audits. What are we looking for? 3rd Level Qualification in HR/Business or related discipline. At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position. Strong working knowledge of HR systems and databases. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills. Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality with the company and externally. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet required deadlines in a timely fashion. Desirable.
