What you need to know. You will work as a Design Lab Technician for our client, a highly successful and well-established medical device company in Co. Galway . As the Design Lab Technician , you will be responsible for supporting the R&D group and developing test methods for various projects. This is a contract job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Support R&D Engineers in producing reports for new products in line with procedures. Ensure the test area is compliant with regulations and is audit ready in terms of GDP and GMP. Support Engineers in projects through the PRP process. Assist in analysing technical issues during testing. Understand and follow EU and FDA regulations during processes. Participate in meetings, discussions and project updates. Generate technical documentation and test data. What are we looking for? Degree in Scientific or Technical discipline. At least 2 years’ work experience in a medical device environment or related discipline with previous experience in catheter testing, compliance testing, fatigue testing etc. Great knowledge of GMP, GDP, policies and procedures. Strong communication skills and strong teamwork capabilities. Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills and proficient at multitasking. Must possess strong technical ability.
