What you need to know. You will work as a Quality Assurance Engineer for our client, a highly successful and well-established manufacturing company in Westmeath . As the Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure the product runs smoothly and meets client needs. Ultimately, you will monitor stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards, policies and procedures. This is a permanent job. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: You will be responsible for providing quality support to processes and products to client standards and relevant regulatory standards. Liaise with manufacturing engineering and supply data processing and analysis for new and existing products. Liaise with the departmental supervisors on areas of product improvement and corrective actions. Carry out internal audits. Assist in the development and progress of site Quality Metrics. Maintenance & communication of GMP standards throughout the plant. Assist with the implementation of compliance to the Quality Management program following the protocol of CGMP. Will be required to follow EHS policies. Develop and execute plans and protocols and produce reports for changes in product development. Participate in the development, validation and implementation of the manufacturing processes. What are we looking for? Degree in Engineering/Science or professional membership of a recognised institution or a minimum of 5 years experience in a Medical Device environment. Ideally 5 years’ experience in a managed setting, FDA or ISO 13485 registered work environments. Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills and proficient at multitasking. Strong computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint etc. Attention to detail and the ability to meet required deadlines in a timely fashion. Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork capabilities.
