What you need to know. You will work as a Company Accountant for our client, a highly successful and well-established manufacturing company in Westmeath . As the Company Accountant you will be responsible for improving the company’s efficiency and maximising its profitability. This is a permanent job. The salary is €40-50K . Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: Responsibility for financial accounts, including manufacturing accounts and costing, AR & AP and government returns. Compilation of monthly and quarterly management accounts. Finalisation of year-end accounts for audit. Manage company general and credit insurances and act as first contact with financial institutions. Oversee IT/ICT function; managing outsourced support partners and troubleshooting basic issues. Management and development HR Function. Respond effectively and efficiently to ad-hoc reporting requests. What are we looking for? ACCA / CPA /CIMA Qualified. 2 years post qualification experience, manufacturing environment preferred. HR management experience an advantage. Comfortable with all aspects of accounting and up-to-date on developments in Financial Reporting. Comfortable working to tight deadlines. Highly organised and able to manage and prioritise a spread of different areas. Strong track record in managing stakeholder relationships and good people skills. A good understanding of internal controls. Desirable. IT Management skills; knowledge of ERP systems, SQL, MS Exchange etc. Strong knowledge of HR issues, best practises and systems.
