SPA Manager - Sirana Spa. Sirana Spa, coocooned deep within The Sheraton Athlone Hotel is recruiting for a Spa Manager. This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a Spa that has a dedicated and growing clientele, who come back time and time again to experience our signature spa treatments with Elemis and Payot products. The Spa Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Spa. Responsibilities will include: To directly oversee the management of the spa operation, ensuring delivery of excellent customer service standards. Lead a productive and engaged team through coaching, training and the effective development of our people. To be an excellent spa therapist who is passionate about the job. To ensure all customer enquiries and requests for bookings are dealt with promptly, courteously and efficiently. To lead the spa team to ensure that the confidence, knowledge and expertise required is in place to deliver excellent customer service. To work closely with the General Manager and in conjunction with budgeted targets. To ensure adequate and accurate resource planning with effective recruitment and ongoing training of the spa team. To maximise sales through effective sales and marketing initiatives in co-ordination with the marketing team. To ensure that the highest quality standards and processes are implemented and consistently maintained across the department. Work with the Sales and Marketing Department to develop strategies to reach new/potential clients and promote seasonal offers. Drive revenue opportunities through treatment revenues including but not limited to retail products, Spa Dining or Leisure packages. Actively grow revenue and profit lines. Ensure a financially successful Spa by working within budgeting guidelines, controlling operating costs and maximising sales awareness within the team. Implement and maintain controls and procedures to ensure the highest standards, efficiencies and professional operations are in place within the spa. Maintain Health & Safety and Hygiene of the Spa. To support all areas of the operation and to develop relationships with other key hotel based employees and managers to ensure their support moving forward. To identify and recommend partners that are condusive to the brand and fit well with the overall concept for The Spa. The Ideal Candidate. Our ideal person will have 4+ years experience in Spa Management in a similar, luxury environment. You will have a passion for well being and creating happiness for all those who visit your amazing Spa. You will have an understanding of how the operation works, not just from a treatments perspective, but food and beverage as well. You will be able to manage conflicting priorities in a fast paced environment and have a sound understanding of business functions including Finance, Health and Safety, Human Resources and Sales.
